The pre-medical certificate program is designed to help students develop a strong foundational understanding of science topics needed to transition into the Doctor of Medicine program. This unique program offering a fast-track alternative to entry into medical school. The program will help the transition by fulfilling the prerequisite undergraduate science courses needed for admission into the Doctor of Medicine Program at AUM. The certificate program is designed for those with non-science undergraduate who wish to pursue a career in medicine.

Admission requirements

  • Official transcripts from all secondary and postsecondary schools attended
  • Two official letters of recommendation, one of which must be from an academic source
  • A personal statement explaining
  1. Why you are considering a career in medicine.
  2. Your accomplishments, extra-curricular activities, and any relevant volunteer work/ information
  • Curriculum Vitae (Resume).
  • A nonrefundable U.S. $75 application fee.

International Students ( Non U.S.A, Non Canadian and Non U.K )

  • Official transcripts from all secondary and postsecondary schools attended
  • Submit an official credential evaluation report of your transcripts through the World Education Services (WES); website: www.wes.org
  • G.C.E. (General Certificate of Education) Ordinary Level O-Level
  • SSC board exams or Matriculation
  • LONDON EXAMINATIONS GCE / GCSE / IGCSE
